Superfly SS

Scott and Sean waisted no time in getting their Superfly SS 29'ers built up. I heard something about 22 lbs thrown around . I think I'll try and get my geared Superfly built up tomorrow just in case it gets cold enough to hit the trails this weekend. I just heard thunder outside so it's gonna have to get real cold!

Nice, that must be Sean's huh? Mine's almost built, and yes, sub 22 pounds, and that's a 21" with a conservative build. I'm just waiting for some P.I.M.P. Bonty white race lite grips.

Yep, that's Sean's ride. I should sneak it out while he's on his Colorado/Tour of Cali trip! I was building up my Superfly today when my white grips came. I'll have to sneak away from the cust app party tomorrow night and shorten cables/lines, bleed brakes, and slide on those pretty grips.

Hey I was going sneak away. Hell Jerry will be there, he can hold down the fort.

Funny, Jerry told me today that he thought he was going to skip out early!

You should put one of those 1 pound rigid carbon forks on the thing and drop more weight. I might go that route with mine. Being a hardtail, the rear end can only go so fast through the rough stuff anyway so why have a suspension fork at all.

what type of chain tensioner are you using on your superfly?
