Pretty interesting article in Cyclocross Magazine today about working the pit at a cross race. Last weekend we were helping out a few other teams and riders who didn't have any support. In the case of the Cal Giant/Specialized crew they just had too many riders for the mechanics they had. In the picture you can see Bama and myself working a bike change for Ryan Knapp. I guess we did a good job since we made the article. Saturday we did some blazing fast bike changes with Joe that had the pits buzzing. All the exchanges were super smooth and fast, he never lost any time at all. You should read the article. Kind of humorous and pretty much tells it like it is.
